The LGBT march in Puebla will be dedicated to the elderly in the community.

The streets of the capital of Puebla will be painted in colors with the passage of the LGTBIQ + community for the pride march that has been called at the state level on June 22.

At 3:00 p.m., the contingents will leave from Juárez Park towards the city’s main square.

The Association for the Protection of Sexual Plurality and Human Rights (APPS), reported that this year, the mobilization will be dedicated to the elderly of the community, and will also pay tribute to the first demonstrations that took place in the state in the 70s in the entity.

“Remember and Resist” the slogan of the pride march in Puebla
Under the slogan “Remember and Resist; the main square is ours”, the participants will begin their route on the 5 de Mayo Boulevard towards the Ovando bridge, to turn onto Reforma Avenue and reach the main square of the capital.

Remember that this social mobilization could cause road closures and slow traffic, so we recommend that you take this into account and anticipate the search for alternative routes in the city.

On the other hand, if you or someone you know does not agree with the ideology of the LGBT+ community, it is recommended that you avoid the area and that if you have to be present, you be respectful of the demonstration, in order to preserve peace among all members of society.
