The Solidaridad Police detected, with license plate tracking cameras, a pair of cars, a van and two motorcycles with a theft report.
The vehicles were a Mazda CX5, intercepted on Playa del Carmen Boulevard with a report from November 16, 2023; a Dodge Journey model van, stolen the same day (last Tuesday) in the municipality of Tulum. Another car was a Tsuru Nissan, chased and intercepted by patrol cars on Guaco Street, with a theft report from June 5.
One of the motorcycles is an Italika Vitalia 150, seized in the Real Ibiza neighborhood; the other of the same brand, model DT-150, detected with surveillance cameras when it was circulating on Lilis Avenue, and was intercepted in the Inn House irregular neighborhood. In a couple of weeks, the local police have recovered nine stolen vehicles. All were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General of Quintana Roo for the corresponding procedures.
