What are the Best of Guanajuato 2024 awards?
Since 2017, México Desconocido and the Ministry of Tourism have joined forces to celebrate the authenticity of our country through the national Best of Mexico awards. For the second consecutive year, Guanajuato has a leading role among travelers’ favorite destinations for its wide range of activities and outstanding destinations.
How are the winners chosen?
You have the power! The award-winning destinations will be those that have left an indelible mark on the experience of travelers who follow and are inspired by the México Desconocido platform. In other words, Lo Mejor de Guanajuato 2024 will highlight those Guanajuato destinations that have conquered the hearts of travelers and enthusiasts who explore Mexico on a daily basis.

The Best of Guanajuato 2024 awards will be made up of 21 categories, which include the best activities, routes, experiences, services and infrastructure that Guanajuato offers to travelers.

This is the process to follow for the award for The Best of Guanajuato 2024
Nomination process from June 19 to July 5 on the portal www.lomejordeguanajuato.com. Here you can nominate services, destinations and providers directly on the site*.
Voting from July 12 to August 6. They are carried out on the same digital platform.
Awarding: August 9 in a ceremony with the presence of the winners.
*Between 6 and 10 nominees are chosen per category according to the number of applications.
