Due to an accident on the Puebla-Orizaba highway on the stretch from Acatzingo to Ciudad Mendoza, km 224, Caminos y Puentes Federales (Capufe) reported that a line of vehicles of up to 34 kilometers has been generated.
According to the official report, the closure in the direction of Acatzingo continues until this morning, after six hours, due to a multiple rear-end collision near Cumbres de Maltrata.
Units of the National Guard and Capufe are working in the area to remove the units and attend to the accident.
Authorities ask citizens to take precautions and call 074 for more information on the matter.
It is expected that in the next few hours the passage can be reopened, which will be reported through Capufe’s official channels.
