How much does a passport cost?
There are two ways to apply for a passport, and the one you use will depend on how urgent it is to be issued: either the regular process or the emergency process, just keep in mind that the latter will have a higher price.
One-year validity: 815 pesos
3-year validity: 1,585 pesos
6-year validity: 2,155 pesos
10-year validity: 3,780 pesos
Before deciding on the period, you should consider that a one-year passport is only granted to children under three years of age. In addition, the Secretariat contemplates a 50 percent discount for people over 60 years of age, who have a disability, as well as agricultural workers under the agreement with Canada.
Validity for one year with discount: 405 pesos
Validity for three years with discount: 1,795 pesos
Validity for six years with discount: 1,075 pesos
