This is the user called tio.padrino who shared a video on his TikTok account where he sought to expose his boss for having fired him for demanding a 10 percent tip from customers.
It was in the video, which already has several million views, where the young man appeared quite angry for having been fired from the job where he had been for more than five years.
Employee is fired for demanding tips from customers
Over the course of four minutes, the man let off steam in the video that he shared on his networks. There, he exposed his situation where he was more than dissatisfied with his boss’s decision to fire him. Likewise, he threatened him by telling him that he would take the case to the ultimate consequences.
“I was just fired for demanding a 10 percent tip. My boss went too far. He tells me that I was recording and demanding a tip. I’m going to see this at the conciliation meeting because it’s not fair that I’m fired for this. So many years working here for them to come out with this kind of thing. I’ve worked here for six years and still for such an insignificant reason as uploading videos,” he said.
Upon hearing his complaints, in the video you could hear the voice of his boss in the distance, who was adamant about firing him. He also challenged him, asking him to report him to whoever he wanted, but that his job would not be returned.
“You also get the message. There are no customers here and you’re still asking for a tip. People won’t come anymore, that’s why I fired you. Report me to whoever you want, anyway, there’s no work for you here anymore,” the boss replied.
Finally, the young man made it clear that it is a right of workers to demand tips from customers, a comment that raised many criticisms in the video.
“Yes, I’m going to complain because it doesn’t seem fair to me. This is not going to stay like this. It is a right that we workers have to ask for a tip because here my salary has not been raised. I will go to file my complaint. Even though he works without a business license; I’m tired of working for him for free. I’m dying every day,” he concluded.
