The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has issued a forecast for November 4, 2024. The SMN predicts that cold front No. 7 will move over the northwest, north, and northeast of Mexico on Monday, November 4, bringing heavy rains to Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.

Meanwhile, a low-pressure channel over the east and southeast of Mexico will generate heavy rainfall (50-75 mm) in Oaxaca and Chiapas, with electrical discharges and possible hail. The SMN forecasts rain and showers in various parts of the country, including the Valley of Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula.
The forecast for maximum temperatures on November 4 is as follows:
* 35 to 40°C: Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, and Oaxaca.
* From 30 to 35°C: Sinaloa, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatán, and Quintana Roo.
The forecast for minimum temperatures on November 4 is as follows:
* From -10 to -5°C with frost: mountainous areas of Sonora, Chihuahua, and Durango.
* From -5 to 0°C with frost: mountainous areas of Baja California and Zacatecas.
* From 0 to 5°C: high areas of Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Aguascalientes, Nayarit, Jalisco, Michoacán, State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla, and Veracruz.
The SMN has also issued a warning about the potential for tropical wave No. 30 to affect the southwest coast of Colima and Jalisco on November 4. However, this is unlikely to have any significant impact on Mexico. Overall, the forecast suggests that November 4 will be a wet day in many parts of Mexico, with some areas experiencing heavy rainfall, strong gusts of wind, and dust storms.
