Two Cruise Ships with 8,601 Passengers Arrive in Mazatlán

Amid the celebrations for the anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, two cruise ships, the “Norwegian Bliss” and the “Carnival Panorama,” arrived in Mazatlán this morning, bringing a total of 8,601 passengers. This week, five cruise ships have docked at the port.

Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, head of the Ministry of Tourism, reported that with the arrival of these two ships, the total number of cruise ships visiting Mazatlán this year has reached 98.

The “Norwegian Bliss” was the first to arrive at 7:30 a.m., carrying 4,184 passengers from Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. It is scheduled to depart at 6:00 p.m. for Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Later, the “Carnival Panorama” arrived from Puerto Vallarta with 4,417 passengers and will set sail at the same time, heading to Cabo San Lucas.

Velarde Cárdenas added that 11 cruise ships have visited the port this month, bringing 41,654 passengers and generating a significant economic impact for the city.
