Social media users reported being stopped for up to eight hours at the height of Tepotzotlán and Izcalli. “Do you have an estimated repair time? There are sick people and babies trapped there!” wrote Julio Saenz.

Another user mentioned that the stoppage on the highway began on the night of Wednesday, November 20. “Since 09:00 pm we have been stopped and this is not progressing, really the National Highway Guard did not happen when the federal police were there.”

“We have been stopped for 8 hours. I don’t see what operation!!! It is simply a parking lot… I have passengers with delicate health and we have no food, water or medicine,” shared another user on ‘X’.
