Over 60% of Campeche’s Roads in Poor Condition: Federal Deputy Francisco Farías

Federal Deputy Francisco Farías Bailón has highlighted the dire state of Campeche’s roads, stating that more than 60% are in very poor condition. He has announced plans to request the Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport Secretariat (SICT) to build a bridge on the federal highway section known as “El Rancho de la Laguna” in the Municipality of Candelaria, due to frequent water overflows.

Urgent Need for a Bridge

Farías emphasized the urgency of constructing a bridge to address the overflows, which Civil Protection refers to as a “sheet of water.” These overflows pose a significant risk to the lives of Campeche residents. He plans to submit requests to both Federal and State governments to expedite the project.

Social Media Announcement

Through his social media channels, Farías has been vocal about the need for immediate action to improve road conditions and ensure the safety of the people of Campeche.
