Jezrael Larracilla Pérez, the Secretary of Administration and Finance of Campeche, has presented the main components of the 2025 economic package. This initiative aims to boost investment attraction and economic development in the state.
Key Strategies
1. Long-Term Vision Study: A comprehensive study for Campeche 2025-2050 will be conducted to define the state’s long-term economic and social direction.
2. Fiscal Incentives: The state will work with the federal government to apply fiscal incentives, including ISR, VAT, and accelerated depreciation, for three industrial zones: Seybaplaya I, Lerma-Campeche I, and Dzitbalché I, covering a total of 430 hectares.
3. Investment Promotion: Efforts to promote investment will continue, as evidenced by the installation of CEWS, which aims to create 2,200 jobs, with 1,400 already contracted.
4. New Projects: Companies like the cement company Cruz Azul and 18 others have shown interest in developing projects in the port of Seybaplaya and the energy sector.
5. Simplification of Procedures: The state will simplify procedures and regulations at both the state and municipal levels to facilitate the arrival and operation of new companies.
These strategies are designed to create a favorable environment for investment and drive economic growth in Campeche.
