Xalapa, Ver., February 3, 2025.- The State Attorney General’s Office reports the results of the operations carried out in various regions of the State, within the framework of the New National Security Strategy, with the coordinated work of the Ministerial Police, the Mexican Army, the Navy, the National Guard and the State Public Security Secretariat.

Operations carried out:

Tuxpan Regional Prosecutor’s Office

– Operations: 2

– Results: Seizure of drugs, cell phones, ballistic cartridges, devices for the consumption and distribution of drugs, voter ID cards and balaclavas.

Coatzacoalcos Regional Prosecutor’s Office

– Operation: 1

– Results: Arrest in flagrante delicto of 1 person, seizure of drugs, devices for the consumption and distribution of drugs, various documents, and a vehicle registration card.

In addition, the release of a victim whose identity was hidden, who was deprived of his liberty, was achieved.

Veracruz Regional Prosecutor’s Office

– Operation: 1

– Results: 11 people were arrested in flagrante delicto and drugs, knives, cell phones, a vehicle reported stolen and a motorcycle with alterations in its identification.

Xalapa Regional Prosecutor’s Office

– Operation in Martínez de la Torre: 2

– Results: 2 people were arrested in flagrante delicto, in addition to the seizure of drugs, devices for drug use and a cell phone.

Specialized Unit for Combating Kidnapping

Operation in Nanchital

Result: Three people arrested in flagrante delicto, and the seizure of ballistic plates, torture boards, a bag containing drugs with the characteristics of drugs known as marijuana and cocaine, as well as gram bags and a vehicle without license plates.

The Attorney General reaffirms her commitment to continue strengthening security actions throughout the state territory, in close collaboration with state and federal forces, to achieve conclusive results in the fight against crime, preserving peace and order in the State of Veracruz.
