To ensure that tourist arrivals in San Miguel de Allende do not decline during the less-visited months of the World Heritage City, Tania Castillo, Director of Tourism Development for San Miguel de Allende, announced the lineup of events scheduled for May and June in the Most Beautiful Small City in the World.

With these events, during the quietest period of the year for tourism, the official said that an estimated 500 million pesos is expected to be generated by more than 100,000 tourists throughout the entire value chain.

She also stated at a press conference that not only local and national tourism is expected, but also tourists from around the world, which will further enhance the events.

Among them are the Anne Frank Exhibition and an international equestrian competition, as well as gastronomic and musical performances.

Also included is an international show jumping competition, the GNP OTOMI GRAND PRIX, to be held from April 30 to May 11. Additionally, an equestrian event inspired by the Seville Fair, called Tierra Brava (May 1-4), is expected to feature a Working Equitation competition and equestrian shows.

Along with the Millesime GNP Weekend (May 22-25), a gastronomic festival, and the Salsa Festival.
