With an international artistic lineup and a wide gastronomic offering, the Puebla 2025 Fair, one of the largest in Mexico, opens its doors to the world starting this Thursday and continuing through May 11, a period during which it expects to receive 1.8 million visitors.

According to data from the Puebla Tourism Development Secretariat, the event, which will be held at the 5 de Mayo Civic and Cultural Center, will generate an estimated economic impact of 7.5 billion Mexican pesos (approximately $384 million).

The show is part of the “Por amor a Puebla” program, an agenda of more than 180 cultural activities that seek to consolidate the state as the cultural capital of central Mexico and a preferred destination for international tourism.

Located in a strategic location in the United States, Puebla is less than two hours from Mexico City and similar distances from states such as Veracruz, Morelos, Tlaxcala, and Hidalgo. Therefore, within a 200-kilometer radius, it encompasses a potential market of over 40 million people, reinforcing its role as a hub for attracting diverse audiences.

Furthermore, Puebla has strengthened its participation in international gastronomic tourism circuits, such as its recent presentation at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in Spain.

International Music and Local Gastronomy

In this edition, the Teatro del Pueblo, one of the most important in the state, will bring together global music names such as Maroon 5, The Killers, Farruko, and The Chainsmokers, in free shows included with general admission, which will also feature performances by Intocable and the band El Recodo.

Likewise, the fair’s Palenque will offer concerts with popular artists such as Christian Nodal, Lucero y Mijares, Yuri, Matute, Banda MS, and Edén Muñoz, available through digital pre-sale.

According to the official program, this celebration will also include pavilions dedicated to traditional cooks, agro-industrial producers, and artisans, as well as representation from the three Puebla mezcal routes with designations of origin: Atlixco, Sierra Negra, and Mixteca.

This musical and gastronomic offering will be complemented by cultural exhibits, interactive areas for children, rides, and fireworks.

Regarding the fair’s security, according to the Conventions and Parks organization, which is in charge of organizing the fair, inter-institutional committees, protocols, transportation operations, and staggered logistics have been deployed to reflect the growing attendance of previous years and the event’s expanding international profile.
