This event, considered the most important fishing tournament in the country, will bring together more than 150 anglers, not only from the state but also from other regions such as Baja California, Monterrey, and even San Diego, United States, who are yet to confirm their participation.

The excitement will be at its peak with the awarding of prizes for five main species: marlin (striped, black, and blue), guajú, tuna, sailfish, and dorado. Each species will have prizes for the top three places, and a prize pool of over 800,000 pesos will be distributed among the winners.

Activities begin on Friday, June 6th, with registration starting at 3:00 p.m. The opening ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m., followed by the captains’ meeting at 7:00 p.m., where the rules will be read and all regulatory details will be finalized.

On Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th, the starting gun will be at 6:00 a.m. from Marina Palmira. The weighbridge will open at 2:00 p.m. and close at 5:00 p.m., at which time the day’s results will be announced. On Sunday, at 5:30 p.m., the final awards ceremony will take place.

During the three days of the event, starting at 4:00 p.m., musical groups such as bands, norteños, and singer-songwriters will liven up the great fishing festival. Admission is completely free, and sponsors will be present to distribute prizes and souvenirs to the audience.
