With excitement running high and the historic Plazuela Machado in festive attire, Mazatlán Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez led the welcoming ceremony for the long-awaited Day of Music, a celebration that for more than two decades has transformed the port into a grand, vibrant stage where musical diversity embraces locals and visitors alike.

“Day of Music has been going for 22 years, and on this occasion, as the Government of Transformation, we reaffirm something very valuable with this celebration: that culture is for everyone, that music can transform our spaces, bring us closer as a society, and remind us of the pride of our history,” said President Palacios Domínguez from the main stage.
