Several burners appeared this Saturday at Cerritos Beach, prompting the Aquatic Rescue Squad to intervene and deploy personnel to the area.
The presence of these organizations led to the placement of white flags as a risk warning to swimmers of possible harm when entering the sea.
The agency reported that the patrols will continue throughout the weekend in other beach areas of the port.
Personnel will provide instructions to swimmers and mark the areas where the burners are concentrated.
The call is extended to Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th. The public was asked to observe the condition of the beach before entering the sea and avoid areas with warnings.
