In an unusual incident, a motorcyclist was stopped in the Vallejo Industrial neighborhood, but what appeared to be a traffic violation turned into an incident that raised suspicions among the police.

Officers from the Traffic Control Undersecretariat, who were conducting traffic enforcement and prevention work on Vallejo Avenue in the Gustavo A. Madero borough, stopped a motorcyclist because he was not wearing a protective helmet.

When officers pointed out his violation of traffic regulations for violating Article 37, Section D, the 29-year-old motorcyclist became agitated and tried to hide a plastic bag.

To rule out the possibility of concealing a crime, the police asked him to get off the motorcycle for a search.

What did the police find on the motorcyclist after the search?

The agents found:

Six live cartridges of different calibers
A bag containing a white substance resembling cocaine
And, in the trunk under the motorcycle seat, inside an orange backpack, were bundles of bills. When counted, they totaled approximately one million pesos.

However, the suspect, unable to prove the legal origin of the money, was arrested and placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent.
