A day marked by violence was experienced this Sunday in Sinaloa. The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported that on July 20, four investigations were opened for intentional homicide, after four people were found dead in different parts of the state.
In Culiacán, the discovery of a body in the Las Cerezas neighborhood initiated one of the investigations. In Navolato, two victims were reported: one found on a dirt road connecting the towns of Campo Vital and El Batallón, and another found lifeless outside the Red Cross facilities.
In Mazatlán, a person who had been injured on July 19 died in a hospital, according to the FGE.
In addition, the Specialized Vehicle Theft Unit of the Central Region filed two complaints for this crime, while in the municipality of Culiacán, seven complaints for unlawful deprivation of liberty were filed with the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Forced Disappearances of Persons.
