During the first quarter of 2025, Sinaloa led the way in economic growth in Mexico, registering a 7.0% increase compared to the previous quarter. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, based on data from the Quarterly Indicator of State Economic Activity (ITAEE) published by INEGI.

With this result, Sinaloa surpassed other states with strong performance, such as Nayarit, which achieved 3.3% growth, and Guerrero, which registered 2.4%. The figures, already adjusted for seasonality, reflect solid economic dynamics.

Regarding annual growth, the Sinaloan economy also showed progress: it grew 2.0% compared to the same period in 2024, demonstrating a steady and sustained evolution.

The ITAEE provides quarterly information on the economic performance of each state in the country, considering the performance of different productive sectors.

This strong economic performance supports Sinaloa’s efforts to promote balanced development and generate more opportunities for its population, consolidating its position as a key player in the national economy.
