This Sunday, the entry of tropical maritime air and the presence of a trough will maintain partly cloudy skies in the morning and cloudy skies in the afternoon in Yucatán.
Before noon, light rain is forecast in municipalities such as Tizimín, Valladolid, Celestún, and Hunucmá; however, the intensity will increase to moderate around noon, and after 2:00 PM, heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds and electrical activity are expected in the northeast, northwest, and southeast of the state.
In Mérida, moderate rain could begin between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, while the heaviest rainfall is expected between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
The weather will be hot, with high temperatures of 38 to 39°C inland and 29 to 31°C along the coast. The wind will blow from the southeast in the morning at 5-10 km/h, shifting to the northeast in the afternoon, with gusts exceeding 60 km/h during the passage of rain.
