Over the next few days, the weather in the states of Coahuila and Durango will remain within normal seasonal parameters, although with some variations worth keeping in mind.
In Torreón, the sky will remain mostly clear and temperatures will remain high, with highs reaching 34 degrees and lows around 22 degrees. This situation will continue at least until Monday, September 15. However, a slight change is expected on Tuesday, September 16, when some morning showers accompanied by cloudiness could occur.
In contrast, in Victoria de Durango, the weather will be more variable. Although temperatures will not be as high as in Coahuila, with highs around 26 degrees and lows dropping to 14 degrees, scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected today and throughout the weekend.
Regarding winds, moderately windy conditions are expected in many northern regions of the country, both in Coahuila and Durango. Sustained winds of between 20 and 30 kilometers per hour are forecast, with gusts that could reach 60 kilometers per hour in open areas, especially in Coahuila.
In Durango, gusts will be slightly less intense, ranging between 30 and 50 kilometers per hour. These conditions do not pose a major risk, but could generate dust in dry areas such as La Laguna, which could affect visibility and air quality, especially for people with respiratory allergies or asthma.
Although no major dust storms or wind alerts are expected, it is recommended to exercise caution when driving, secure loose objects in patios and rooftops, and stay informed through official channels such as Civil Protection or the National Meteorological Service.
