The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) announced today, September 24, 2025, the inflation rate in Mexico during the first half of September 2025. Here, we tell you which products saw their prices increase during the first half of the national holiday.
According to INEGI, the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) increased 0.18% to 141,181 compared to the previous half. Therefore, inflation in Mexico stood at 3.74%, after closing August 2025 at 3.57%.
INEGI also noted that the core price index increased 0.22%, while the non-core price index rose 0.03%.

It should be noted that the new 2025-2026 school year of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) began on September 1st, and some of the services that increased in price during the first half of the month were schools.
