On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the designation of Orizaba, Zozocolco, and Coscomatepec as Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns), the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) invites the public to enjoy the special activities that will take place in each municipality.

This distinction was granted in 2015 by the federal Ministry of Tourism in recognition of the cultural, historical, and natural richness of these Veracruz destinations.

During this decade, these towns have established themselves as tourist attractions that enhance the state’s identity and traditions: Orizaba, with its history, architecture, and nature; Zozocolco, with its indigenous roots and traditional festivities; and Coscomatepec, for its mountain landscapes and cultural heritage.

Starting today, various cultural and artistic events will take place in Orizaba and Zozocolco, while in the municipality of Coscomatepec, on September 28, activities will take place that highlight the pride and identity of its community.

The SECTUR (National Tourism Secretariat of Veracruz) reiterates its commitment to continue promoting tourism and the promotion of Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns), spaces that reflect the grandeur of Veracruz and offer unique experiences to local, national, and international visitors.
