In the context of World Tourism Day, Ensenada remains the main port in the Mexican Pacific and the third in the nation for cruise ship arrivals, highlighted Mayor Claudia Agatón Muñiz.
The mayor noted that, based on the report from the Navy Secretariat through Asipona, from January to August of this year, 232 vessels from various shipping lines arrived at the port.
“In the first eight months of the year, a total of 869,014 tourists arrived on the 232 vessels, who have had the opportunity to discover Ensenada’s attractions,” she emphasized.
The mayor noted that 60 percent of the arrivals were from Carnival; 27 percent from Royal Caribbean; 5 percent from Princess Cruises; and 4 percent from Disney Cruise Line, among other shipping lines that dock at the port.
