Juan Pablo Vargas Baez, alias Chuki or Chucky, an alleged Sinaloa Cartel pilot linked to the Chapitos faction, who was arrested last night, Monday, in a cabin in Surutato, Badiraguato, is being transferred to Sonora.

According to the arrest record, Chucky was apprehended at 11:35 p.m., in a cabin located a few meters from the road to Surutato and approximately 250 meters from a landing strip, in a tourist area of ​​the mountain town.

The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection reported that Vargas Baez was apprehended in a joint operation by the Sedena (National Security Forces), the SSPC (Secretary of State for Public Security), and the Attorney General’s Office. This operation was based on investigative work to locate addresses and vehicles used by the alleged criminal, who has an arrest warrant for organized crime related to arms trafficking.

According to national media, Vargas Baez appears in the same arrest warrant issued in Hermosillo, Sonora, against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Ovidio Guzman Lopez, Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar, Nestor Isidro Garcia and / or Nestor Ernesto Perez Salas, the Nini, Martin Leon Romero, Marx Garcia Rodriguez, Mario Alberto Gaspar Martinez, the Pokémon, German Gonzalez Monjaraz, Antonio Gonzalez Zermeño, Hector Gustavo Cruz Fuentes, alias Tavo and / or Tigre, Andres Felipe Espinoza Huerta, Chonqui and Nestor Alfredo Garcia Rodriguez.
