The Director of Tourism for Madero, Mariana Varela, reported that a high influx of visitors is expected at Miramar Beach during the month of December, due to the holiday season and the arrival of tourists taking advantage of the opportunity to visit family in southern Tamaulipas.
She explained that December represents one of the best seasons of the year for tourism, since in addition to the vacation period, many people choose Madero as their destination to enjoy the weather, the beach, and the recreational offerings of the region.
Varela emphasized that, although slight temperature drops have been recorded recently, Ciudad Madero maintains a favorable, practically summer-like climate, which allows tourism to remain active.
She noted that there are currently promotions, activities, and a wide range of services available throughout the city, along with the work done in terms of cleanliness, security, and infrastructure—factors that make the destination “practically sell itself.”
Finally, he indicated that the municipality is already prepared to receive thousands of tourists, who, in addition to enjoying Miramar Beach, take advantage of these dates to spend time with family and friends during the December celebrations.
