The Director of Markets, Parking, and Commercial Areas for the Municipality of Aguascalientes, Israel Díaz García, announced that the traditional La Purísima Christmas market will be set up and will operate from December 7th to 25th, 2025, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
He noted that in addition, at the Reforma Market, citizens will find a wide variety of products and services for the holidays, such as posadas, gatherings, and countless promotions. He added that to facilitate access, there are approximately 18 parking lots in the area, and traffic, security, and civil protection operations will be reinforced at this and other markets throughout the municipality.
Local Representative Arlette Muñoz Cervantes, from the LXVI Legislature, highlighted the great economic potential that this commercial activity represents. She reiterated the support of the State Congress for promoting commercial development in Aguascalientes.
For his part, Councilor Juan Carlos Espinoza Esparza, president of the Regulatory Control, Shows, and Markets Commission of the Aguascalientes City Council, highlighted that more than 900 businesses will be offering great promotions during the La Purísima festivities. He also invited everyone to visit the traditional Miguel Hidalgo Park, where families can enjoy wholesome fun and recreation, as well as the animals that live there.
Leaders of the merchants, along with the parish priest of the Purísima Concepción Church, Juan Antonio Lira López, invited everyone to visit this space and enjoy themselves responsibly, as fairs will also be held in celebration of the patron saint festivities.
Also participating were the director of the Preventive Police of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat, Juan Manuel Amador Martínez, and the director of Municipal Mobility and Roads, José Luis Rodríguez Montoya.
