With two posadas (traditional Mexican Christmas celebrations), the mayor of Los Cabos, Christian Agúndez Gómez, celebrated with thousands of residents of La Paz and Comondú.
Thousands of people from La Paz and Comondú ate, drank, and danced at the events hosted by the mayor of Los Cabos this past Saturday and Sunday in Chametla and Ciudad Constitución. Prizes ranging from TVs to refrigerators were raffled off.
In La Paz, it is estimated that more than 2,500 people attended the gathering hosted by Agúndez Gómez in the community of Chametla.
A smaller number of residents of Comondú responded to the invitation from the mayor of Los Cabos, a member of the Labor Party (PT), at the posada organized in the Antares Hall, thanks, it was said, “to the support of friends of Christian Agúndez.”
Thus, hundreds of kilometers from the district he governs and in “foreign land,” the mayor of Cabo San Lucas spent several hours with residents of La Paz and Comondú, wishing them the best for these holidays and the coming year, as evidenced on the southern mayor’s own social media.
