A judge has formally charged the owners of a dog that bit a pedestrian in Mérida, the Yucatán Attorney General’s Office reported Saturday afternoon.

In a statement dated Saturday (December 20, 2025), the Attorney General’s Office indicated that, according to criminal case 511/2024, the complainant was walking on the sidewalk of 53-G Street between 56th and 58th Streets in the Ampliación Francisco de Montejo neighborhood.
