The presence of French DJ and music producer David Guetta at Zamna Festival 2026 is a clear indication that Tulum continues to shine on the global map of the world’s most important music events, attracting thousands of national and international visitors.

The festival, which has established itself as one of the most prestigious electronic music events in Latin America, projects the destination as a global cultural and tourist landmark.

Mayor Diego Castañón emphasized that the arrival of world-class artists like Guetta confirms the organizers’ confidence in the infrastructure and institutional support.

“From the municipal government, we provide support with public services, security, and traffic management so that both tourists and Tulum residents can enjoy these shows in an orderly and peaceful environment,” he stressed.

According to figures from the Tourism Department, Zamna Festival generates hotel occupancy rates exceeding 90 percent during its main dates, in addition to a significant increase in local economic activity.

Restaurants, transportation companies, shops, and service providers report sales increases of up to 40 percent compared to regular weeks, directly strengthening the destination’s economy.

Mayor Diego Castañón emphasized that these events not only boost tourism but also enhance Tulum’s cultural profile, positioning it as a space where music, art, and diversity converge.

“Our vision is for Tulum to be recognized not only for its beaches and natural beauty but also for its capacity to host top-tier cultural events,” he stated.

Regarding security, the city council reported the deployment of more than 150 municipal police and traffic officers, along with coordination with Civil Protection and emergency services, ensuring a comprehensive operation to assist visitors.
