The Mérida City Council is currently drafting the Mérida Strategic Tourism Plan 2025-2030, which will serve as the roadmap for local tourism in the coming years, establishing specific lines of action and projects.
The Plan does not focus on increasing the number of visitors or the local tourism offerings, but rather on reflecting on their quality, local management, data-driven decision-making, digital systems, the capacity to integrate sustainability as a standard practice, universal accessibility, collaborative governance, and innovation and training.
We would like to hear your opinion about tourism in Mérida, its challenges, opportunities, and how it should be managed in the future. The questionnaire is anonymous and will help guide the policies and projects of the new Strategic Tourism Plan.
