From January to July 2026, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT) will implement a paving program to rehabilitate seven sections of highway on the Chihuahua–Juárez (Route 45) and El Sueco–Janos (Route 10) routes, as part of the toll-free Federal Highway Network.
The work will consist of removing the damaged asphalt and laying a new surface, with an initial target of 64.4 kilometers.
On Route 45 Chihuahua–Juárez, four sections will be addressed, primarily in the Villa Ahumada area, on both lanes A and B of the highway. Meanwhile, on Route 10 El Sueco–Janos, three sections will be rehabilitated, connecting El Sueco, San Buenaventura, and Nuevo Casas Grandes—key areas for regional and agricultural traffic.
