A man is found dead on the Tulum-PDC highway

Tulum.- The body of a lifeless man was located on Saturday night on the side of Federal Highway 307, in the Tulum-Playa del Carmen section.

It was around 10 p.m. when motorists reported to the emergency number that there was a man lying on the road, at the entrance of the Tulum Archaeological Zone.

Police and paramedics arrived at this point, who only confirmed that the man no longer had vital signs.

The deceased was found dressed in dark pants, a gray sweater with black stripes and socks.

The exact causes of this man’s death are unknown, so far; however, everything points to the fact that the male was the victim of a run over.

Police elements cordoned off the area until personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office arrived, processed the area and lifted the body.

The man was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service, where he is expected to be identified and handed over to his relatives.
