Because that pride we feel in belonging to Querétaro isn’t given to us by the government, a political party, or politics; it comes from its people, from decades of generations of brave women and men, but above all, women who have won their rights through sacrifice, effort, and, quite literally, struggle.”
The winners were: in the Academy and Training category, Martha Ruiz Rubio; in Arts and Culture, Eva Curiel Padilla; in Civil Associations, Mariana Chávez Montejo; in Science and Technology, Cynthia Stephanie Olvera; in Sports and Well-being, Edna Mondragón Quijano; in Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Andrea Guadalupe Hernández Ramírez; in Social Work, Daniela Navarro Montes; and in Outstanding Career Achievement, María Fernanda Lazo Payró.
The event was attended by the Secretary of Culture of the state of Querétaro, Ana Paola López Birlain, the Secretary of Women’s Affairs for the municipality of Querétaro, Vanesa Garfias, and other authorities.
