Mazatlán is experiencing an extraordinary Holy Week, reflecting the confidence of thousands of visitors in the Pearl of the Pacific, which is positioning itself as one of the country’s leading tourist destinations.
The Sinaloa State Tourism Secretariat reported an 86% hotel occupancy rate through Friday, with the arrival of more than 550,000 tourists and an economic impact exceeding 1.5 billion pesos.
“These results are thanks to the support of Governor Dr. Rubén Rocha Moya and our President Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who have promoted the strengthening of tourism as an engine of development and shared well-being for the people of Sinaloa,” stated Secretary Mireya Sosa Osuna.
