This Thursday, the town of Piedras Blancas in Buenavista, Michoacán, witnessed the announcement of the arrival of criminal groups through three banners signed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
The announcement was disseminated via a video detailing that the CJNG would be collaborating with ‘Los Viagras,’ a criminal group led by Nicolás Sierra Santana, alias El Gordo Viagra.
In the video, four men in military-style uniforms and carrying long guns can be seen claiming to be part of the Jalisco-based criminal organization. They stated that both groups would now collaborate and intend to take control of the town.
“We are from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, people of ‘Gordo Viagra’ under the orders of the boss ’03’. We are here in Piedras Blancas and we’re here to stay. Anyone who opposes ‘Tepeque’, ‘Reyes’, or the ‘Templarios’ will either fall in line or die,” the criminal group stated in the video.
According to the video, the criminal group operates under the orders of ’03’, recognized as the stepson and successor of the slain drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho.
