As part of the 40th edition of the Zacatecas Cultural Festival 2026, the State Government is promoting the state’s tourist destinations through its participation in the Zac’s 58 Festival.

The Magical Towns of Guadalupe and Jerez are participating in this event, offering activities for visitors and locals alike, including culinary demonstrations and cultural expressions.

On April 6, Guadalupe presented a menu featuring aguas frescas (fruit-flavored drinks) and traditional birria (a type of stew) from “El Carnero de Oro,” served with rice and beans, as well as a delicious rice pudding dessert. The day included performances by the Guadalupe Municipal Band, the Pepe Contero dance company, and a musical presentation.

On Tuesday, April 7, Jerez will present a menu of Jerez-style tostadas and Jerez-style wedding stew, served with rice and beans, along with “La Ermita” ice cream. The cultural program also includes a performance by the Banda Jerezana de Chuy Aguilar.

The activities take place at the Citadel of Art, located on Doctor Ignacio Hierro Street in the Historic Center of Zacatecas, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is 150 pesos.
