Governor Américo Villarreal, as well as the head of the Ministry of Education, Mario Delgado, Senator Olga Sosa and the Mayors of Tamaulipas Eduardo Gattás, Carmen Lilia Canturosas and Erasmo González, all from Morena, were accused by the federal Deputy of the PVEM and ally of the maroon party, Mario López, of allegedly being part of a huachicol network.
