Once again, it’s clear that petty thieves at Cancun International Airport have free rein, and nobody does anything to stop them.
This time, influencer Sabrina Lan went viral on social media, posting a video, furious and distraught, recounting how her suitcase was emptied mid-flight.
She explained that she flew on American Airlines from New York and that the thieves ransacked her luggage both on the outbound and return flights, meaning they didn’t spare her even once.
When she opened her suitcase, bam! Her custom-made Chanel sunglasses from Korea and her black Gucci sunglasses were gone. They left her with nothing but generic, unbranded junk, all jumbled together.
But that wasn’t the worst of it, folks… the shameless crooks even closed her suitcase as if nothing had happened. Inside, they left a lipstick that wasn’t even hers, a filthy handkerchief, torn bags, and makeup scattered everywhere.
The influencer said that after researching online, she realized she’s not the only victim, because many other people have also had their skincare products, jewelry, and sunglasses stolen at that airport.
So, be careful, everyone: if you’re flying from Cancún, it’s best to keep your expensive items close to your chest because the thieves there are working overtime and the authorities are nowhere to be seen.
