Stray Kids in Mexico: Fans demand an end to dynamic pricing and are preparing emails to Profeco (Mexico’s consumer protection agency).

Less than three days remain until the general sale of tickets for the Stray Kids festival in Mexico, and fans are concerned about potential dynamic pricing at the GNP Stadium.

Stay fanbases—the Stray Kids fandom—are already preparing mass emails to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) in case they detect irregularities in Ticketmaster’s sales for STRAYCITY.

It’s worth remembering that ARMY demanded clarification after alleged inconsistencies during BTS’s ticket sales in Mexico, and as a result, Profeco established new guidelines for ticket sales.

Here’s the map for Stray Kids in Mexico City; prices are not yet known (Ticketmaster).

Through social media, Stray Kids pages shared a template for sending emails to Profeco if irregularities such as dynamic pricing are detected—that is, prices that increase or decrease depending on demand.

This was posted on one of the fan pages:

I prepared a formal complaint template to send en masse to PROFECO (Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency).

What Stay demands before the sale

Although the map has already been released and STRAYCITY ticket prices in other countries are being used as a reference, ticket prices have not yet been announced.

Stray Kids fans demand the following:

Reduction in the number of tickets per person, as the current limit is 6, and they want to reduce opportunities for scalpers.
No to dynamic pricing.
IMMEDIATE publication of exact prices by zone.
Estimated event duration.
System stability to avoid failures.

What Ticketmaster must inform Stray Kids fans, according to Profeco:

The ticketing company must clearly disclose the following information at least 24 hours in advance:

Venue, date, times, and artists, according to the type of large-scale concert.

Map or seating chart of the event, showing the different sections and the number of seats available.
Total price per section, which cannot be increased at the time of purchase.
In case of concert cancellation, the methods and procedures for refunding the amount paid.

Additionally, any changes to the previously published conditions or characteristics of the event must be announced 24 hours before the concert begins.

Any ticketing company operating in Mexico must publish the same information for any festival, concert, or large-scale musical event in the country.

What is STRAYCITY?

It is a festival format organized by Stray Kids. The members will visit cities in Latin America, and their guest artists vary from country to country.
