Today, June 16, the dollar opened trading with an interbank exchange rate of 17.20 Mexican pesos per greenback, marking a 0.06 percent decline, according to Bloomberg data.
The Mexican peso appreciated yesterday, bolstered by the dollar’s global weakness after a preliminary agreement to end the conflict between the United States and Iran lowered oil prices and improved risk appetite.
Among banks, Afirme was selling the dollar at 17.80 pesos, Banamex at 17.60, Banorte at 17.50, BBVA at 17.48, Santander at 17.75, and Scotiabank at 17.90.

The Bank of Mexico (Banxico) recorded an exchange rate of 17.20 pesos per dollar in the last session.
