Three individuals—a woman and two men—were arrested in the western Mexican state of Colima; among them is an alleged drug trafficker linked to the Gulf Cartel (CDG) and a former member of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), all of whom are subject to extradition orders to the United States.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, authorities identified one of the detainees as Valdemar ‘N’ (alias “Valdo”). He is alleged to be a member of the Gulf Cartel and is considered a high-priority target due to his suspected involvement in international drug trafficking and various acts of violence.

The individual is accused of coordinating the trafficking of large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine and is identified as the alleged mastermind behind multiple homicides in both Mexico and the United States.
According to the statement, investigations indicate that Valdemar ‘N’ previously held a significant position within the CJNG; however, following internal disagreements, he left that organization to join the ranks of the CDG, where he continued to engage in drug trafficking activities.

Additionally, as part of the operation, agents from various security agencies apprehended Ramón ‘N’ and Cristina ‘N’ in the municipality of Ixtlahuacán, Colima. They were subject to arrest warrants for extradition purposes on charges of criminal conspiracy and human trafficking.

The detainees were transferred to the facilities of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) in Colima, where they were placed at the disposal of the relevant authorities.
