Housing for Wellbeing Project in Puebla (Infonavit)
President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced on June 15 the “Housing for Wellbeing” project in the city of Puebla, specifically in Villa Verde, following the recovery of a plot of land that had previously been occupied by car dealers.
The goal is to build 100,000 homes nationwide, and Puebla is part of the first phase of this program.
In 2026, the federal government plans the construction of 1,160 homes across 14 municipalities in Puebla, and the president will carry out the symbolic delivery of the first apartments.
The first phase includes a total of 832 homes in Lomas de San Miguel, which have already been assigned. However, here we explain who can access the next phase of the program, which will take place in the municipalities of:

The National Workers’ Housing Fund Institute (Infonavit) finances housing located in areas with access to services, transportation, schools, and hospitals.
Requirements to access Housing for Wellbeing with Infonavit in Puebla
Although these homes have a market value of over one million pesos, they are delivered at affordable prices. If you are interested in obtaining this type of housing, you must consider the following:
The general director of Infonavit, Octavio Romero Oropeza, stated that the Housing for Wellbeing Program is aimed at people who earn between one and two minimum wages.
In Puebla, two minimum wages are equivalent to $630.08 MXN per day or $19,164.94 MXN per month. This calculation is based on the current general minimum wage of $315.04 MXN per day.
Because this program is specifically focused on formal workers, you must meet the following requirements:
Have at least 6 months in your current job and be registered with IMSS and Infonavit
Have the required points for pre-qualification
Not own a home
Not have an active Infonavit loan

Where is the Infonavit Housing for Wellbeing office in Puebla?
To prevent fraud against beneficiaries, Infonavit has established a service module located in the Infonavit Lomas de San Miguel housing development, at Coyoacán Street #5439, in the Lomas de San Miguel neighborhood, in the city of Puebla.
The service hours are Monday to Sunday, from 09:00 to 19:00 hours.
