Due to the Round of 16 match between Mexico and England, Metrobús announced that this Sunday, July 5, it will extend service hours across its entire network until 1:00 AM on Monday, July 6, to facilitate fans’ return home.
Metrobús Director General Rosario Castro reported that, in addition to the extended hours, the agency will operate a special service on Line 5, running from Cañaverales station to Paseo Acoxpa, to bring fans closer to Estadio Ciudad de México.
The special route will operate only on July 5th, from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with stops at the Cañaverales, Miramontes, Gran Terraza Coapa, and Paseo Acoxpa stations. From there, passengers can walk to the stadium via the “Last Mile” (La Última Milla) route.
The fare will be 6 pesos, and payment can be made with the MI Card, as well as with credit or debit cards.
Metrobús also stated that the extension of service on the network’s seven lines will depend on traffic conditions.
