National Guard Organizes Support Brigades in Coordination with Local Authorities
Due to the intense rains, members of the National Guard (GN), in coordination with the Mexican Army, activated “Plan DN-III-E” to support the population affected by the flooding caused by these rains.
Personnel from this public security force, along with local authorities, are organizing assistance brigades in the town of Tolomé, in the municipality of Paso de Ovejas, the area most severely affected.
The National Guard is also assisting in clearing mud, branches, and debris from schools and homes, caused by the heavy rainfall of the past few hours.
“The National Guard and the Mexican Army remain committed to using all their resources to provide assistance to the public in emergency situations.”
