On July 15, it was revealed that Masad Altamimi is the ninth housemate of La Casa de los Famosos México 2026. During his introduction, he shared that one of his current businesses is exporting avocados to Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

The influencer, who is well known for his luxurious lifestyle, used his interview with Wendy Guevara to introduce himself to the audience.

How was Masad introduced?

During the broadcast, Wendy Guevara asked the content creator whether his accent might be a disadvantage inside Televisa’s reality show.

He replied:

“Honestly, I’m comfortable. It’s fine. I’m going to try to enjoy this new experience in my life. People understand me when I speak Spanish, thank God. It’s just my accent. ‘Soporta’ is my favorite word in Mexico,” he said.

Masad also revealed that he has nine siblings and admitted that, although he was excited to join the show, he knows it will not be easy.

“It’s difficult because these people are very strong competitors. I’m very proud to enter the house with them. I know Karina, and with all due respect to the others, I’ll get to know them.”

Are Masad’s eyes natural?

One detail that immediately caught viewers’ attention was Masad’s eye color. During the interview, he revealed that he underwent cosmetic surgery to permanently change it.

“I used to have dark hazel eyes. Ten months ago I changed my eye color. It doesn’t hurt,” he explained.

Using her trademark sense of humor, Wendy Guevara joked:

“They don’t look fake like a doll’s eyes. Yours actually look natural.”

Masad laughed and added:

“I’m crazy, really crazy, but thank God everything turned out well.”

Another topic that sparked interest was whether Masad is actually a millionaire. He explained that, in his country, the definition of a millionaire is much stricter.

“A lot of people ask if I’m a millionaire. Where I come from, you’re only considered a millionaire if you have more than 10 million dollars in the bank. Below that, you’re just rich. I’m rich,” he said.

Speaking about his businesses and his favorite food, Altamimi explained why guacamole is especially meaningful to him.

“I also love eating, especially guacamole. I work in avocado import and export between Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai. Avocados are worth a lot of money there. Here they’re cheap, but over there they’re considered black gold because they’re so expensive. People here don’t realize it. There it’s an exclusive product,” he said.

His opinion of Mexico

Masad spoke warmly about Mexico and its people.

“I love everything about Mexico. The people are incredibly kind. I’ve traveled a lot, and Mexicans are some of the kindest people with the biggest hearts. It’s unusual because, where I come from, people aren’t always that friendly. I really appreciate those qualities,” he concluded.
