The Institute of Culture and Arts of the State of Campeche (ICAECAM) announced the program for the 2026 Campeche Jazz Festival during the “Lunes de Acciones” (Monday Actions) event organized by the Campeche State Government. Ricardo Rodríguez Dives, Director of Art and General Management at ICAECAM, presented the information on behalf of the Institute’s head, Mónica Sosa Rodríguez.

With this announcement, Campeche reaffirms its status as a gathering place for jazz enthusiasts, featuring eight free concerts scheduled for August 13–16 and August 20–23 at the Circo Teatro Renacimiento, starting at 8:00 PM.

The festival’s first week opens on Thursday, August 13, with the Emmanuel Mora Quartet; continues on Friday, the 14th, with a Tribute to Pérez Prado featuring the Díaz Dynasty; presents Hop Hop Diablo Funk on Saturday, the 15th; and concludes this segment on Sunday, the 16th, with the group Exponentes de Jazz del Sureste.

The second week begins on Thursday, August 20, with the Campeche-Yucatán Connection Big Band performing “Basie, Ellington & Sinatra: A Tribute to Swing”; The Less Likely performs on Friday, the 21st; AUA performs on Saturday, the 22nd; and the festival concludes on Sunday, August 23, with a performance by Cuadrivium.

The official noted that, despite the venue’s spaciousness, attendees are encouraged to arrive early—primarily to ensure good sightlines—as the event expects an audience comprising musicians, genre connoisseurs, and the general public.

All performances are free and will take place at the Circo Teatro Renacimiento at 8:00 PM. The Institute of Culture and Arts of the State of Campeche invites the public to view the full program on its website.
