Personnel from the Secretariat of the Navy—acting through the Mexican Navy and the 12th Naval Zone—rescued three individuals who had gone missing near Bucerías Beach, Nayarit.

The rescued individuals—nationals of Mexico, Canada, and the Netherlands—had been kayaking when they lost sight of the shore; a family member subsequently requested assistance via an emergency call.

Despite poor visibility, naval personnel located the three individuals drifting in the water wearing life jackets, as they were no longer aboard their kayaks.

Upon receiving the report, specialized personnel from the Naval Search, Rescue, and Maritime Surveillance Station (ENSAR) in Vallarta immediately deployed on a Defender-class vessel to begin search operations.

Once rescued, they were safely transported to the 12th Naval Zone dock, where they underwent a medical assessment by Naval Health personnel. After being confirmed stable and in good health, they were provided with hydration and given appropriate advice before departing on their own, accompanied by their family members.
