More than 1,300 young people who were not affiliated with the participating institutions attempted to register irregularly for the Pase Olín program, according to Rodrigo Heredia del Orbe, head of the Morelos Institute for Adolescents and Young People (Impajoven).
The official recalled that this transportation subsidy, which provides 1,040 pesos every two months, is intended exclusively for students enrolled at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM), the Polytechnic University of the State of Morelos (Upemor), and the Technological Institutes of Cuautla and Zacatepec.
Full Distribution and Cross-Checking of Enrollment Records
Heredia del Orbe explained that the irregular registration attempts were detected because the validation process is carried out directly against the official student enrollment databases of the participating institutions, preventing any impact on the program.
He also confirmed that the financial assistance will be distributed in full through symbolic events at each campus and by installing permanent service modules at the academic institutions, ensuring a smooth distribution process for students who do not attend regular class schedules during the first weeks.
